Day 8 - 05/12/08
I'm at a resting place called Halleluyah. It was a 4 hours of bus ride from the base camp to here. Super tired now. It is so misty here! Freezing cold -.-" I cannot imagine how the peak of Mt Kinabalu will be like =.= Had our dinner prepared at Halleluyah and the sunset there was so nice! I had never seen such beautiful scenery. The people living there still tell us when is the most beautiful moment. I guess they must have already seen it many many times. Haha! Had fried rice, chicken wings and FRENCH FRIES for dinner! WOOT! Finally something edible =/ But the fried rice was tasteless, althought they added a lot of sauce. Ran into the girl's bunk and chatted with them, and some jokes happened. Lol. Suhiang became a terrorist? Lmao. The bugs were driving Linges crazy also. Huida danced when an insect was on him? Comedical eh. Jeremy was snoring very loudly and some of the boys applied some ointment on his face? Haha. I was knocked out not long after that. Worn-out!

Day 9 - 06/12/08
Packed up and had another bus ride to the foot of the Mt Kinabalu. I was so excited, which i don't know why! When we talk, there will be steam coming out of our mouth. So cool! Pardon me, it is my first time seeing that =) Took our official name tags and went climbing! Saw group 3 and group 4 while climbing, they reached the summit already. We need to pass by 7 huts before we reach the 11000ft resort for us to rest at. There are squirrels at some of the huts, i wonder how they survive they coldness.. Reach the 11000 Ft resort and we were half-dead. went to wait for the lunch buffet to start and we played board games there. Monopoly! I was the overall loser! I left with 5 dollars when they stopped playing. LOL! I was super unlucky, keep going into other people's property, so i got to pay them =.= Some of them were sleeping. I see some people earn money by carrying stuffs from the foot of the mountain to the 11000Ft resort! OMG! And these people climb very fast, so fit! Their calf is like my thigh =/ It is around 10 degrees at the 11000Ft. Freezing~ I can't really adapt, i have never been to such cold places. Went to our resting place and slept at around 7.30pm. I could't sleep! TOO early already. Gonna wake up during midnight to continue climbing to the summit.

Day 10 - 07/12/08
It was 2am! Continue climbing~ Reached the summit at around 5 plus. I was freezing already. Kept resting while climbing, very tired. Everyone was already there when i reached the summit, wth. Watched the sunrise and took some pictures. Beautiful sunrise man. We were above the clouds, imagine how high were we? 4095.2m! Finally reached the summit, very happy and proud of myself. YEAH! Decend slowly and went to eat breakfast and continue decending to where our bus was. My group members was running when they heard that there will be a sumptous buffet if we reach the starting point on time. CHIONG AR! And again, i was at the back, lol. Went to had our buffet and the place where Jia Hao choose was very cold! Stupid idiot, go choose such a cold place to eat. I was freezing already. Ate a little only, no appetite. Went back to bunk after that, WOOT! Shower~ and rested. Tomorrow will be a easy day. Going to village! All expeditions cleared =D

Day 11 - 08/12/08
Morning PT! What a "great" way to start the day. Took some food to the van and bus-ed there. The place is full of animals, like a farm. There are pigs, dogs, chickens and cats. The pigs there are HUGE! The childrens there are all jet li wannabes. They punch and kick some of us. Crazy kids =.=" Watched their TV and one of the kid keep replaying their Ultraman. Replay it for 5 times??!?!?? Watch some old cartoons too, like digimon and some ninja cartoon. Group 1 came to visit us also, 15 mins walk? Chatted and played poker. Lol. We were very free! Nothing to do at all, time to relax. Went to a church to perform at night, sang some songs there. The people living there performed their traditional dance and our instructors sang the "Sayang Kinabalu". It was nice =) Played poker again back at the villager's house. There is a punishment this time. Pumpings =D We even made our instructors do pumping when they lost. Haha. I did 3 only? ^^ Slept at the living room after that.

Day 12 - 09/12/08
Bid farewell to the villagers and went back base camp. Going home soon! Had mixed feelings, both happy and sad. Happy that we can go home(FINALLY), sad because the fun is ending. Rafting with all the other 3 teams. So fun! Washed up and went back to pack up. Had a certificate ceremony at the assembly hall. Took many pictures, we were like superstars! LOL. Went to airport at around 6plus, idk. Chiong to had some fastfood! KFC! WOO~ Heavenly! Our instructors were very funny, they cried and I told them we were not going in yet. I said "Don't cry now, later no more tears. Save it for later." Funny la. They were great people. No kidding. Boarded the plane and bid farewell. Reached East coast campus at around 2am? So tired la. Luckily leonard gave me a ride home. Thanks. Everything at home seems so weird. BYE OBSabah! Waiting for my letter, 6 months time. Hope i will achieve what i wanted.
